RCCG 2014 ONE HUNDRED DAYS FAST
From Thursday, 2nd January 2014, a 100-day fasting and prayer programme will commence in RCCG. Except when we are at the Redemption Camp for the monthly Holy Ghost Services and other equally important meetings, Daily prayer sessions shall be held in the parish which should also be used as a vehicle for further propagation of the gospel because in 2014, God has disclosed that destinies shall be decided. Please note the following piece of information as a guide and modus operandi for individual convenience: Brethren who prefer to break the fast after prayers, Daily will fast for 100 days. For those who choose to fast 7 days non-stop, it is counted as double (14 days) for them for every 7-day period during the exercise. In the same vein, 21 days continuous fast will be the equivalent to 63 days, and In case there are people who prefer to embark on 30 days continuous fast, it is equal to 100 days. And so each night after classes were over, Lola returned home determinedly studying until late into the evening… It wasn’t easy but she stuck through it out of sheer determination! Her hard work finally paid off when – despite several bumps along the road – Lola managed to score well enough on University entrance exams that one university gave her chance at attending their engineering program; something almost unheard of since most admission...
