Thinking...Vision/Mission

Sometimes, the more you look at an object the clearer it becomes but sometimes, the more you look the less you begin to see it and the more definition it begins to give. That is sometimes the true state of what life is all about, we look in some directions, they give us fulfillment, success; and joy but the more we begin to live that life, the clearer things begin to look and if we are not careful, we lose the essence of getting to live the life in the first place. Visions become clearer when they are well defined. Setting standards also help to define and align a vision that has been seen; even when things are about to go wrong, a set standard helps to put things back in place.

2 Kings 13:15-19 “And Elisha said unto him, Take bow and arrows. And he took unto him bow and arrows.  And he said to the king of Israel; Put thine hand upon the bow. And he put his hand upon it: and Elisha put his hands upon the king’s hands.   And he said, Open the window eastward. And he opened it. Then Elisha said, Shoot. And he shot. And he said, The arrow of the Lord’s deliverance, and the arrow of deliverance from Syria: for thou shalt smite the Syrians in Aphek, till thou have consumed them.  And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed. And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice.” (KJV) The ‘ bow and arrows ‘ in the days of Elisha could be seen today as ‘ fasting and prayers’ . Like the Syrianns in Aphek, there are enemies
RCCG 2014 ONE HUNDRED DAYS FAST From Thursday, 2nd January 2014, a 100-day fasting and prayer programme will commence in RCCG. Except when we are at the Redemption Camp for the monthly Holy Ghost Services and other equally important meetings, Daily prayer sessions shall be held in the parish which should also be used as a vehicle for further propagation of the gospel because in 2014, God has disclosed that destinies shall be decided. Please note the following piece of information as a guide and modus operandi for individual convenience: Brethren who prefer to break the fast after prayers, Daily will fast for 100 days. For those who choose to fast 7 days non-stop, it is counted as double (14 days) for them for every 7-day period during the exercise. In the same vein, 21 days continuous fast will be the equivalent to 63 days, and In case there are people who prefer to embark on 30 days continuous fast, it is equal to 100 days.
